Balloon flowers should have died back and disappeared.
Hardy orchids are living below ground in pseudobulbous form. Don't get them too wet or bad things happen.

Cut down Russian sage almost to the ground
Get rid of any dead/dying stems on Selaginella Braunii
Hard rejuvenation pruning on Thyme if you want to do it.
Spring (March-April-Mid May)
Fertilize/compost pretty much everything:
Balloon flowers
Blueberries
Boxwoods
Cast-Iron Plants
Clematis (Start doing this somewhat regularly)
Schizophragma
Woodvamp
Hardy Orange
Hardy Orchid (Start doing this somewhat regularly)
Irises
Korean Spice
Parrot Lily (when they start blooming fertilize regularly every 2-3 weeks.
Russian Sage (if we want to, but not super necessary)
Selaginella Braunii (April)

Thyme
Hearts-a-Burstin' (May)
Remove leaves from cast-iron plant that don't look great.
Don't fertilize the hearts-a-burstin.
Start watering blueberries at least 1" per week.
Clematis should start flowering. Deadhead and prune back some stems as soon
as first wave of flowering is wrapping up. Tie up new growth onto support
Prune woodvamp in late spring, particularly the bad looking branches.
Hardy Orange should start flowering. Prune as needed after flowering.
Hearts-a-burstin should start flowering.
Irises should flower briefly.
Korean spice should bloom around April. Prune immediately after flowering,
before new buds form for next year's blooms. We don't want to kill next year's blooms.
Parrot Lily starts blooming, probably late spring.
Prune russian sage as it starts growing to keep it in good shape, following
guidelines on its page.
Do some shaping pruning on the thyme.
Summer (Late May-June-July-August-September)
Balloon flowers should be flowering. Should be watering once weekly. Deadhead
regularly, and stake them as they start flopping over as they bloom.
Blueberries should start pumping out fruit. Put some netting on to protect
from birds as soon as some fruits start to ripen. Start mega watering them 4"
per week as fruits are ripening.
Fertilize cast-iron plants.
Fertilize the hearts-a-burstin' again in July.
Clematis should have a second wave of flowering. Keep fertilizing somewhat
regularly.
Keep fertilizing the hardy orchids.
Schizophragma should start blooming.
Woodvamp should start blooming. Maybe fertilize again when flowers bloom.
After flowering, trim back big vines that will outgrow support. Prune
whatever you want but make sure its right at the end of flowering, before new
buds have formed for next year's blooms.
Fertilize Parrot Lilies regularly, every 2-3 weeks.
Russian sage should start flowering. Prune as described on plant page to keep
it in shape.
Fertilize the Selaginella Braunii in July
Light rejuvenation pruning on the thyme after blooming, if desired.
Fall (October-November-December)
The Hearts-a-burstin' fruits should bloom.
Balloon Flowers will stop blooming as we enter the fall. One source suggests
maybe put som top dressing with compost on them.
Fertilize the cast-iron plants IF did not do it in summer.
Hardy oranges should be ripening and turning yellow.
Perhaps cut the hardy orchids down to the ground.
Tatarian Aster should start finally shooting up and blooming, blowing up.
Get rid of dead leaves and such around the irises. They are a perfect
breeding ground for the types of insects that will destroy the irises.
Korean spice viburnum might get some little berries if it was pollinated successfully.
